Some consider carpets to be a mauveton, a remnant of the philistine comfort, long ago sunk into oblivion. But this is not so, especially when it comes to modern models of good quality. Carpets on the floor not only create an additional comfort and complement the interior of the room, but also have a number of practical advantages:
- carpets of natural fabrics keep the heat in the house and help maintain a favorable microclimate;
- absorb sound and provide some noise insulation, which is especially valuable for those who live in multi-apartment buildings;
- on carpets it is extremely convenient to walk and it is impossible to slip.
Choose a carpet - which one?
When choosing a carpet, you should pay attention to the following parameters:
- material from which the product is made . There are carpets of artificial materials: polyamide, polypropylene, nylon, as well as natural materials of vegetable and animal origin, such as jute, linen, wool, silk;
- purpose carpet . First of all, you need to decide what you need a carpet for and where it will lie. So, for a bedroom the warm, cozy, but wool carpet that requires delicate treatment is better. For children's rooms and living rooms it is better to take synthetic carpets - they are more practical and easier to clean. The carpet is able to significantly change the interior of the room;
- carpet design . Modern carpets impress the imagination with a variety of patterns, colors, textures, thickness and length of pile and so on. Choosing the right one depends on the design and overall mood of the room, as well as on personal preferences. One of the latest trends in the issue of floor coverings can be considered three-dimensional carpets with a 3d effect, which for several years surpassed their traditional counterparts.
3d carpets - coziness in the volume
Carpets with the modern 3d prefix, and, more simply, with a three-dimensional pattern, were invented in China back in the Middle Ages. In the 20-ies. the last century they appeared on the US market, and then smoothly penetrated into Europe. In our market, this miracle, "breaking" the space, appeared literally a couple of years ago and immediately won leading positions.
Three-dimensional carpets differ significantly from conventional manufacturing techniques. They do not weave with the traditional method, but they are filled with twisted threads on the base with a special pistol. On the reverse side, the stuffed pile is secured with a latex for protection and covered with a lining. Then the front surface of the carpet is repeatedly cleaned, polished and cut by the designer's drawing in order to get the picture conceived.
The height of the pile at the same time reaches 10-15 cm and can be cut, looped or combined. Thanks to this combination, it is possible to create intricate patterns and shapes on the surface of the carpet. But sometimes the effect of image volume is created exclusively by one pattern on the carpet, and is not achieved by the difference in the texture and length of the pile.
Especially unusual are carpets made with the help of technology mixing - with elements of decoupage and interlacing of lace. Such a carpet is a real work of art and, if properly filed, can become a central piece of the interior in the room.
In addition to the beauty of three-dimensional carpets is different and a high level of comfort. As a rule, they are made by hand from high quality natural materials, mostly wool and silk, so walking barefoot on such a coating is a pleasure.
Thus, we see that carpets are not an outdated attribute of the design of rooms, but on the contrary - an element combining the latest technological achievements. Three-dimensional carpet is able to transform any space, the main thing only is that he does not "crawl" onto the wall from the floor.
