Because of the scandalous video, Hulk Hogan became richer by 140 million

Famous American actor, showman and wrestler Khalk Hogan won the court yesterday. Three years ago, the 62-year-old star filed a lawsuit in the court on the site Gawker.com, which accused this resource of placing videos of an intimate nature without the permission of the owner of the video. In it, Hulk Hogan had sex with his friend's wife.

The court passed a verdict not just one day

Consideration of the claim, filed by the actor, lasted long enough and, at last, both sides gathered to announce the verdict. On March 18, the court read out a verdict stating that Gawker Media was to pay 115 million dollars to Hulk Hogan. However, on Monday the meeting continued and, to great surprise for everyone, the jury passed a decision stating that Nick Denton, the founder and owner of Gawker Media, must pay the wrestler from his own pocket $ 10 million. However, the surprises did not end there: the court decided to compensate the Halka for moral damage, which was estimated at 15 million dollars.

After the final decision, Hulk Hogan gave vent to emotions: he burst into tears right in the courtroom. Such a reaction from a two-meter-tall man was not expected by anybody, but the actor's lawyer did not lose his head and offered Khalk a handkerchief. After the meeting, the wrestler gave a short interview and explained his emotions. "I do not remember exactly what they said, but it was very impressive. At that moment, I realized that we won and people believed me. This was the moment of truth! ", The actor concluded.

After the meeting, Nick Denton made a loud statement, in which he accused the jury that they did not consider the problem of immoral behavior of the actor as a whole. At the court session, the founder of Gawker Media provided a record from which it can be seen that the Hulk is a racist, but the court did not attach her to this case.
