Ergonomics in design

Ergonomics in design helps not only beautifully arrange furniture in a room, but to make it as comfortable and safe for a person as possible. With its help, all distances and dimensions that are in the layout of the room are taken into account.

Ergonomics of the children's room

In this case, the correct arrangement is important, since this directly affects the safety of the child. All furniture should be commensurate with the growth of the child. It is necessary to ensure free access to all shelves and cabinets, while leaving passages at least 60 cm wide so that during the games the child is not injured.

The ergonomics of the children's room involves children's furniture for rest and study only from the right size.

Ergonomics of the bathroom

According to the basic rules of the ergonomics of the bathroom, the distance between all objects should not be less than 75 cm. The bowl of the washbasin should be about 100 cm high, this also applies to the height of the countertop. Remember that in a close corner you will be uncomfortable to lean over to wash.

The ergonomics of the bathroom takes into account the position of the toilet: on both sides there must be at least 35 cm to the objects or the wall, and in the front the distance should not be less than 50 cm. The dimensions of the shower corner for a man of medium build are approximately 75x75 cm.

Bedroom Ergonomics

It is important that all the main routes from the window to the door are straight and a width of the order of 70 cm. If the bed is double, it is better to provide two passes on each side. It is always better to push the head to the wall. It is desirable that the bed is not completely visible from the doorway. The ideal solution is the compartment cupboard, its capacity should be sufficient to accommodate everything you need, but not more. According to such ergonomic principles, furniture is placed in the living room.

Ergonomics kitchen - dimensions

In this case, it is sufficient to ensure the correct working triangle. The basis of any kitchen design in ergonomics is the distance between the sink, fridge and sink. The kitchen set can be placed in a U-shaped way, and in a line. All the things you use every day should be in an easily accessible place, at eye level or at hand.
