However, in 1978 his first solo album appeared, in which the singer completely independently wrote all the songs, both in the field of texts and musical parts.
Prince begins an active musical career and soon releases the next record. In his manner of performance, the musician belongs to the direction of rhythm and blues, but he so skillfully combines the opposite, seemingly, currents of this genre, that the music written by him looks extraordinary and attracts everyone's attention.
For a long time, Prince worked with musicians as a group. First it has the name The Time, but then it changes to The Revolution. However, the main contribution to the creation of the repertoire and manner of performance of the group belongs to one Prince, and musicians mostly work only in the framework of concert performances. It was in this group that the main hits of the artist were written, and also the most famous albums "Purple Rain" and "Parade" were released.
