Lighting in the room

Lighting in the rooms is just as important as architecture and design, as it can create a special atmosphere and determine the mood of your home.

Correct lighting in different rooms

The living room is the main room in our house. Lighting in the living room should be sufficient for a comfortable pastime of the family and guests. The room should not have dark corners. As lighting, you can use ceiling spotlights , individual sconces at the armchairs, highlighting niches and curtains.

Lighting in the bedroom, on the contrary, allows the game with light and shadows. It is best to make the main lighting scattered, and as additional light sources, use wall sconces or lamps on the bedside tables near the bed.

Lighting in the children's room depends on the age of the child. For example, if it is a room for a newborn, the lighting should not be too bright. Do not forget about a little bedside lamp. In the room of a more adult child, and especially a teenager, you need to provide bright lighting for the game and work area.

Lighting in a room without windows, for example - in the dressing room, should be sufficient so that you can easily find shoes and clothes. The dimness in the dressing room is inadmissible, otherwise you will be uncomfortable in this room.

Lighting in a small bathroom and toilet room should be bright, but with the possibility of creating a more subdued and calm light. To do this, you can use multi-level light sources, mirror lighting, lamps with closed lampshades from frosted glass, so as not to worry about the effect of humidity on the electrician.

In the kitchen, lighting should assume the possibility of choosing between general background lighting and highlighting individual working areas - the sink and countertop, where we prepare the food. It is very convenient if the luminaries are built into the cupboards, which are lit when the doors are opened.
