Making a rocking chair with your own hands

1. First, we draw a simple drawing, determined with the dimensions of the future product. We put it on paper in a scale of 1: 1. Our relaxation chair is very simple. It consists of two curved sides resembling an Australian boomerang, and a set of transverse guides in an amount of 14 pieces.
2. As a material for the chair, we choose sheet plywood with a thickness of 15 mm.

9. We process sidewalls with two layers of mocha stain. The second layer is applied only after the first one has dried. The ends of the side walls and the inner side of the frame are painted with black shiny paint.
10. After the sidewalls are painted and covered with stain, the product begins to look attractive.
11. The back side of the chair is covered with leatherette. Material is fastened to the transverse edges of the frame by a stapler.
12. The mattress is made of foam rubber with a thickness of 8 mm. Top sewing vstovochki, filled with sintepon.
