Magnetic gel varnish

Modern technologies of manicure do not stand still, and every day surprise with stunning innovations. Among them - a magnetic gel-lacquer, has already won the favor of both masters and visitors of beauty salons. This cosmetic product allows you to create a unique and unique manicure with pronounced moving patches of light on the surface of the nails.

What is a gel-varnish with a magnetic effect?

The described agent differs from the conventional gel-lacquer in that microscopic metal particles are uniformly dispersed in its bulk. Naturally, when a magnet is brought to it, the metallic dust rises and spreads on the surface of the nail plate, corresponding to the lines created by the magnetic field.

It is worth noting that the final pattern and design of the manicure depends on the shape of the magnet used.

Technology of application of magnetic gel varnish

To date, the most trendy version of the described design of nails is the "cat's eye". It looks like a natural stone of chrysoberyl, beautifully glittering at different angles of inclination.

Here's how to apply a magnetic gel-varnish to achieve the "cat's eye" effect:

  1. Prepare the nails - treat with a saw blade, degrease, apply a bonder.
  2. Dry the coating in an ultraviolet lamp.
  3. Apply gel-lacquer in one coat.
  4. Without placing the nail in the lamp, bring a rare earth magnet close to its surface.
  5. Move it from right to left and vice versa for 30 seconds, until a noticeable chrysoberyl glare appears.
  6. Dry the gel-varnish in the UV lamp.
  7. Cover the manicure with a fixer and dry again.
  8. A cotton disc moistened with alcohol, wipe the surface of the nails, removing the residual sticky layer. Repeat the above steps for the rest of the nail plates.

Apparently, there is nothing difficult in creating a manicure "cat's eye". It can be supplemented with small Swarovski crystals, using a magnetic pencil for gel-varnish. The stones should be placed along the cuticle line or along the edge of the nail.
