Biogel for nails

Even about 5 years ago, to meet a fashionista with short nails was a very difficult task - all the girls, as for selection, wore long tipsy, then decorated with ornate patterns, then shiny rhinestones, then " French " - in the French manner. But times change, and today the natural length of nails is valued in the fashion world very high.

Perhaps this transition from long artificial nails to natural was forced, because the build-up is not very useful for the health of nails - the plate is thinned, loosened by constant cutting, and acrylic does not allow the nail to "breathe". This causes a lot of problems with the nails, and therefore avoiding unnatural nails is completely logical. Today, to give the nails a normal appearance, the producers offer a more gentle procedure - manicure with biogel.

Biogel has some kind of relationship with the narcotic nails - slightly adjusts the shape. In the rest, it's a completely different format product, which is designed for less time and even strengthens the nails.

Strengthening of natural nails with biogel: "for" and "against"

Let's start with an optimistic note. Biogel should be used if:

Now let's talk about the disadvantages, because many are interested in whether the biogel is harmful to the nails. The biogel itself is not harmful, but the liquid that removes the material does not add health exactly, but at the same time, its harmfulness is also great, as it is from the usual liquid for removing varnish with acetone.

Strengthening nails with biogel "French" - step by step instruction

To strengthen the nails you will need:

When everything is ready, you can proceed to the procedure itself. Best of all, if each nail is processed in turn, except for the first item:

  1. Before applying the biogel on the nails, they need to be prepared: first grind them, so that the surface of the nails is flat and better attached to the material.
  2. Now moisten the cotton disc with a disinfectant and wipe the nail with it - it will degrease the nail plate and at the same time prevent the development of bacteria and fungi.
  3. Then apply the primer so that the biogel lasts for 2 weeks.
  4. The next step is applying the biogel itself. This requires a flat, medium-width brush. It can be purchased at a special store or art shop. Baste the biogel on the brush, remove the remains and cover them with the nails.
  5. Now put the nail under the UV lamp for 1 minute.
  6. Then the nail should be applied camouflaging biogel - a pink shade, the basis for the French manicure.
  7. After the pink base is applied, immediately remove the gel remnants (using a brush) on the free edge of the nail in the form of a "smile" - this is necessary so that when the white gel is applied there is no elevation.
  8. Now the nail should be placed under the UV lamp for 2 minutes.
  9. The next two steps - the most difficult and most interesting - make a "smile." Take a white biogel and draw white stripes on the free edge of the nail, holding the brush straight. As a result, you will get 4-5 short strips, depending on the width of the nail. Do not immediately draw an arc.
  10. When the strips are drawn and look like one solid line, align the line in the shape of the arc, running a clean brush perpendicular to the base of the nail.
  11. Again, bring the nail under the UV lamp for 1 minute.
  12. Now you need to repeat the "smile" - make it even brighter. As for the first time, make a few white lines on the free edge of the nail, and then make a smooth arc out of them.
  13. Now bring the nail under the UV lamp for 2 minutes.
  14. Then cover the nail with gel-gloss so that the manicure looks fresh.
  15. Place the nail for 1-2 minutes under the UV lamp for fixing.

How to remove the biogel from the nails?

To remove the biogel from the nails, use a gel-removing liquid. Each firm has its own product, which corresponds to the structure of the produced gel. Some girls replace this product with a usual liquid for removing varnish with acetone, but this possibility is better to use in extreme cases.

Design of nails with biogel

The design of nails with biogel can be completely different. The above option - "French" is the most versatile, suitable for any style of clothing and make-up. It looks natural thanks to the thin layer and the flexibility of the biogel.

Also options are possible with a complete painting of the nail with a varnish. Remember that the nail polish remover containing acetone dissolves the gel, and therefore, if you decide to remove only the varnish, then use a bezacetone solvent.

How long does the biogel keep on the nails?

The above method of applying biogel will last about 3 weeks, but considering that the nail grows, the real duration of such a manicure is about 2 weeks.
