Scientologists are looking for brides Tom Cruise

The former parishioner of the Scientologists Cathy Schenkelberg told an entertaining story about how she, without knowing it herself, was casting for the role of a girl for Tom Cruise, arranged by the leadership of the sect.

Meeting of brides

A few years ago Cathy Schenkelberg, then an ardent follower of Scientology, was invited to an interview supposedly for referral to training courses. Among other young and pretty women she came to Los Angeles, not knowing about the true purpose of her visit.

The girls crowded in the corridor, entering the interview room, which was recorded on video, one by one.

Suspicious questions

To begin with, Cathy was asked about the place of her birth and residence, and also at what stage of Scientology she is. After common questions, the interlocutor suddenly said:

"What do you think of Tom Cruise?".

Not understanding why she was being questioned about this, Miss Shenkelberg quite sincerely replied:

"I can not stand him, I think he's a narcissistic child."

Only when she was in the foyer did she talk with a girl sitting next to her, realizing that she had failed in her interview.

Ideal candidate

If it were not for Katie's excessive frankness, she might well become a friend, and perhaps the new wife of the film's star "Mission Impossible."

She was at a high level of Scientology and was personally acquainted with another famous adept of the church, John Travolta. Her daughter was friends with the adopted children of Tom Cruise and Nicole Kidman Isabella and Connor. Шенкельберг communicated with one of the sisters of actor Cass Maporot and often shared with her his nurse.
