Torn application

One of the most interesting types of applica- tion technology is a break-in applique, which consists in filling, by the principle of mosaic, with torn pieces of colored paper inside the applied contour of the image.

The technique of the breakaway applique is quite simple and does not require the child any skills. The basis for the application should be denser than the paper from which it will be executed. It can be either a thick sheet of paper, or cardboard. When tearing, the fingers should be placed close to each other, on both sides of the drawn line.

Cut-off appliqué "Miracle tree"

To perform this work you will need:

In order that our tree was really a "miracle", we will adorn it with a variety of different colors, made in various ways.

  1. To begin with, the tree needs a trunk and branches. Let's make an easy sketch on colored paper of brown color and carefully cut off on the contour. It should be noted that the applique looks more expressive, if after the breakage there is a wide white band.
  2. For the production of leaves, we outline the outline on green paper and break off from both sides. Making petals to create a flower is different in that the tearing occurs in a circle, while the fingers remain in one position, and a sheet of paper every time after tearing should be slightly rotated. Then on the leaves and petals we make accurate tears.
  3. The original flower can be made by cutting the paper in a spiral.
  4. You can pick up a great variety of flowers, previously drawing them on colored paper and tearing it around the contour. In our case, the composition is complemented by flowers in the form of a bell, bindweed and snowdrop.
  5. Now we collect the applique. Each part can be glued separately, or on the cardboard in the place where the composition will be located, first apply a small layer of glue, and then distribute the fragments of the tree in its place. We should get such a wonderful tree!

Cut-off appliqué "Rybka"

This application of torn paper suitable for children of younger age and will be an excellent option for children's crafts on him "Nature" . It's all very simple! The starting material will be the same as in the first application.

  1. Take a cardboard and draw a contour of the desired fish.
  2. We decide in which colors we want to see this or that part of the picture and, accordingly, we tear colored paper into small random pieces.
  3. On the cardboard we apply a layer of glue and "decorate" our fish.

The beauty of the break-out application is that the baby does not need to be too careful and accurate, he can simply enjoy the process of his creativity!
