Among the building and finishing materials, various types of plastering take their rightful place. Many people know that it is this type of wall treatment that is used to flatten their surfaces before decorating. But there are other types of plasters. Types of plaster for exterior works

We will not dwell on simple plaster - its purpose was described above. A little more information about other types of facade plaster. Special types of plasters are used as insulating, heat-insulating, fire-protective and anti-radiation compounds for exterior decoration of buildings. But, with the same task, in addition to its external attractive appearance, decorative plaster fronts also successfully cope. They, in turn, are also subdivided according to the type of the surface formed into relief (textured and structural) and smooth. This or that type of relief is formed due to the introduction in the plaster mixture of various additives of different sizes - stone crumbs, quartz sand, mica, glass. Among the textured facade plasters, its kinds such as "lamb", "fur coat" and "bark beetle" are very popular.

About the last few words separately. When applying this type of plaster, a specific surface is formed with grooves reminiscent of the movements of the bark beetle in the tree (hence the name). Depending on how the grouting of the treated surface was carried out, plaster "bark beetle" is divided into the following types: straight horizontal (the surface was rubbed from side to side); straight vertical (grout up and down) and circular (grouting in circular motions). Sometimes a combination of these species is used.

Types of plaster for interior works

It should be said that all the types of plasters listed above can be used for interior decoration of premises. Is that the textured and structural plasters are selected with fine fractional additives. But the interior decorative plaster is a special theme. Their choice is so wide, and there are so many options for finishing that interior decoration with decorative plaster can be performed taking into account even the most unusual wishes. Many types of decorative plaster (especially textured on a silicone base), due to their unique performance (moisture resistance, inertness to household chemicals, resistance to mechanical damage), can be used even for finishing rooms with specific conditions, such as kitchens and bathrooms.

It is impossible not to mention the most spectacular decorative plaster - Venetian . It belongs to the category of smooth plasters. Due to additives in the form of marble or onyx crumb and a special application technology, surfaces that have the appearance of natural stone are formed. And depending on the type of polymer and the type of surface obtained, the classic Venetian plaster is divided into the following types: Veneto, Trevignano, Marbella, Imperiale, Encausto.
