Biography of Alexis Mobille
Alexis Mabille became interested in fashion at a very young age. He was inspired by ancient magnificent dresses, hats and other accessories of the past centuries. His work he developed in the favorite and secluded place of his house - in the attic. There he embodied his "fashion" ideas, found and used old, unnecessary clothes and gave vent to his imagination. From old skirts, dresses, using lace and other decor items, Alexis created new and original "outfits." They were distinguished by a kind of uncomplicated design, a combination of different texture and colors of fabrics.
As a teenager, Alexis Mabi worked on creating costumes. These outfits he sewed for parties and student theater. His friends and family members also wore clothes from an aspiring young couturier.
In 1997, he graduated from high fashion school at the Paris Syndicate. After Alexis received his diploma, he went on an internship in elite fashion houses: Ungaro and Nina Ricci. Later, he devotes 9 years of his life to work in Christian Dior. For the time that he worked there, Mabi created many masterpieces. A huge success enjoyed jewelry for John Galliano and created with his help line Dior Homme.
In 2005, the brand Alexis Mabille was officially registered. His collections are dedicated to men's and women's clothing, underwear and accessories.
