- Fianit. This stone differs from diamond by its density and thermal conductivity. In addition, the phianite cut has slightly rounded ribs and small bubble inclusions.
- Moissonite. Initially, this mineral was identified as a diamond, but after a detailed study came to the conclusion that this is just a similar analog. Today, the stone is grown under artificial conditions, providing a high temperature (1400 ° C) and pressure (500 thousand bar).
- Zircon. Most often this stone is represented in color, but there are colorless zircons, with which you can replace the diamond. The stone is cut with a mixed facet (stepped bottom and diamond processing of the top).
To distinguish such stones from a real diamond, you can use a diamond pencil or a test with hydrochloric acid.
