All squares should be the same, and it is better to arrange them in a checkerboard pattern to avoid unattractive bald patches. Begin the separation of strands from the back of the head, moving to the forehead. Between the square sections there should not be any loose hairs. Strands are fixed at the roots by elastic bands.
  3. Actually weaving the dreadlocks consists in stripping: one strand is taken (preferably the lower one, the elastic band needs to be removed) and the hair is done, with the second hand curling around the axis - this will ensure better entanglement of the hair. It takes a long time to create a single dreadlocks, which is why, as noted at the beginning, it's worth patience. As the hair is combed, the hair begins to stray at the roots in a tight tourniquet. Continue to work as a comb until all the strands get this look. The density of the formed bundle should be the same throughout its length. Weaving of dreadlocks is accompanied by a slight pain, but the effect, of course, is worth it!
  4. At the root of the dregs fix an elastic band so that it does not fall with the neighbors. The end of the dread is also fixed with an elastic band, and very tightly, and it can not be removed for the next two weeks.
  5. Wax for weaving dreadlocks is applied to the finished tourniquet so that the agent is well absorbed. At this stage it is appropriate to use a hair dryer - hot air will help the wax to coat the hair better.
