Remember the ironic comedy about the world of high fashion "The Devil Wears Prada"? 11 years have passed since the premiere of this stylish film, and now a curious episode appeared on the Net that did not enter into the final version of the picture.

Recall that in the center of the plot is the relationship between the editor-in-chief of a serious glossy publication and her assistant. The heroine Meryl Streep, the authoritarian and inflexible Miranda Priestley, behaves with subordinates as if they were not people at all, but, mistakes made by Mother Nature. Yesterday's student, Miranda's secretary, an ambitious girl, dreaming of a career as a journalist. Anne Hathaway masterfully coped with this role, but it's not about her now.
The cut scene at the charity ball shows Ms. Priestley a living person. She knows how to be grateful even to her secretary. That's the twist!

Why was the scene not included in the final version of the picture? There is an opinion that the whole thing in the prototype of Miranda - the head of American Vogue Anna Wintour. She did not want to put her husband on public display in an unattractive form.

Although, perhaps, the director of the comedy, David Frenkel, decided to set the accents differently in this story, because the scene where Miranda demonstrates loyalty to the subordinate was cut out.
