Prince George in pajamas thanked Barack Obama for the gift

The British monarchs have official meetings with leaders of other states quite often. Kate Middleton and Prince William have become accustomed to such events, but their 2-year-old son, a young George of Cambridge, was confronted with official guests for the first time. Yesterday a meeting of British monarchs with Barack Obama and his wife took place, and photographs of the heir to the Crown of Great Britain behaving with the US president simply "blew up" the Internet.

Prince George and Barack Obama - a strong man's handshake

The couple Obama flew to London in order to congratulate Elizabeth II on her anniversary and hold a series of meetings. One of them took place on April 22 in Kensington Palace, where Kate Middleton, princes William and Harry, Barak and Michelle Obama were to be present. However, soon after the beginning of the meeting, the young prince appeared in the room. George was dressed, not observing the rules of the dress code, in pajamas with a plaid print and a white bathrobe. To everyone's surprise, the boy was not at all embarrassed by the guests and reporters, but began to consider them. When Barack Obama squatted to get to know George better, the child held out his hand to him. Such brave deed from the prince was not expected either by the parents or by his uncle, which caused a lot of positive emotions.

After the handshake, the US president went to a toy horse, specially brought for George on his birthday. Heir to the British crown quickly climbed the toy and began to master this fun. After a while, the prince got tired of the horse, and he was already going to go to his house, as his parents stopped him, insisting that he thank the guests for the gift. George, as the child was supposed to, said: "Thank you" and went to sleep.
