So, two years ago a couple from the Canadian state of Ontario offered to buy a charming version of domestic guinea pigs - mini-pi. Steve Jenkins and Dora Walter, after reading that these pigs do not grow more than 25-30 kg, and at first glance fell in love with a small charming piglet, with pleasure they took the new pet home.
But then everything interesting began ...
Their kilogram baby Esther just in a couple of months gained the maximum weight for dwarf guinea pigs and did not intend to stop at this!
Of course, Steve and Dora guessed that it was not a pedigree pig, but an ordinary domestic pig.
But there was nowhere to go: all the family members, including numerous cats and dogs, were insanely attached to the extra favorite kg, and they flatly gave it away or sold it.
Esther did not intend to change the home environment to the barn in the yard!
You will not believe, but for the first weeks of staying in the house, Esther is so used to home comfort, felting on the couch, bathing in the bathroom, TV and fragrances from the fridge, which she did not even deny herself, even at times in the home!
Favorite hobby
But for the owners of the real problem was not even that the weight of Esther had already exceeded 300 kg, but the fact that her food was gone all the supplies!
Esther made friends with all the cats and dogs of the owners!
Pig, exceeding the size and weight of the polar bear, it was necessary to feed 6 times a day with fresh vegetables and fruits. And this is also quite expensive - about 30 pounds a day!
As a decent pig, Esther is always hungry!
But most importantly, the appearance in the house of Esther changed the life and the owners themselves - they completely abandoned the use of pork, and later became vegetarians!
Well, how!
Today Esther is certainly the happiest ordinary pig in the world. They love her madly, they take care of her and allow different pranks.
And Esther reciprocates, allowing herself to kiss and scratch her tummy!
