Usually, in private plots, tiarella is planted along the edges of the garden paths. Due to the presence of a mustache, it grows very quickly and begins to bulge beyond the limits of the places assigned to it, so it is not recommended to plant it in flower beds. Also a great place for her - under the canopy of trees. Tiarella grows beautifully in shady places, and after it grows, it will create a beautiful lawn.

Another important thing to remember is that this plant is hygrophilous. Therefore, watering in the summer requires regular.

With regard to fertilizing, it should be introduced during the growing season and after the plant fades.

Before winter comes, the base of the tiarella bush should be covered with peat, it is also possible to compost, which is well birch, then covered with non-woven material.

With the onset of spring shelter should be removed gradually, at first as if airing, but only in cloudy weather. A compost is not to be removed at all, since in due course the very base of the plant bush is exposed and it will give a more aesthetic and decorative appearance, besides, the soil moisture will be preserved better.

Many people have a question: Do you need to trim the leaves of tiarella? It is not necessary to do this. Its leaves perfectly overwinter, only during this period of time they change color and become copper, turquoise or brown.
