• leafy earth - very loose, but not nutritious, therefore can not be used independently, it can be collected in a forest belt with deciduous trees (except oak, willow and chestnut);
• baking powder - large river sand or sawdust, scalded with boiling water.

Directly the process of preparing the soil consists in mixing the named components in the correct proportion. For peppers and tomatoes, the ratio of components and the mixing process is as follows: one part of the leaf earth should be added with one part of peat and river sand, mix thoroughly, and pour with nutrient solution (25 g superphosphate, 10 g carbamide and sulphate per 10 l water).

Or you can mix peat, leaf land and humus in equal proportions and add 2 matchboxes of superphosphate and 0.5 kg of ash. It must be said that one should not be too zealous with fertilizers, because at the initial stage for germination of seeds, many trace elements are not required. In the future, additional food will need to be added when the first real leaflets appear on the seedlings.

Mixed substrate must necessarily be treated against pathogens. To do this, you can burn it or, on the contrary, burn it in the oven. Another way is to pour it with a solution of potassium permanganate and treat it with antifungal agents.
