The composition of the Bifidumbacterin candles includes living bifidobacterium Bifidobacterium bifidum No. 791, which have a high degree of antagonistic activity against various opportunistic and pathogenic microorganisms. They contribute to the restoration of the balance of the vaginal microflora, stimulate metabolism and increase the nonspecific resistance of the organism.
Use of vaginal suppositories Bifidumbacterin
According to the instructions attached to the drug, vaginal suppositories Bifidumbacterin should be injected into the vagina twice a day, one candle. At the same time, the duration of therapy with this drug should be at least five to ten days.
For the prevention of postoperative purulent-septic complications, five to ten days before the planned gynecological intervention or delivery, one or two times a day, one candle in the vagina is prescribed.
Pregnant, in case of violation of the purity of the secretion of the vagina to the third or fourth degree, the drug is prescribed for use once or twice a day for five to ten days or more for one vaginal candle until the purity is restored to the first or second degree and symptoms are eliminated.
After the treatment with antibiotics, Bifidumbacterin is prescribed a 10-day course for one vaginal candle once or twice a day. If there is a need, then the treatment is repeated after three to four months.
