Among the many finishes, it is difficult to find one with which you can easily, quickly and at the same time still beautifully, originally and inexpensively trim the ceiling. But such material is - it's plastic ceiling panels.
Types of plastic ceiling panels
Finishing ceiling panels made of plastic (or rather, polyvinyl chloride) can be divided into types, taking into account the following indicators:
- the form of release - there are tile and sheet, resembling a lining;
- external parameters - can vary in size, color, surface texture;
- method of applying an external decorative coating - can have a matte, semi-matte and glossy surface (using a special lacquer); have a drawing (using a thermal film) or simulate various natural materials (direct printing or embossing on special equipment).
Also, when choosing panels, it is necessary to pay attention to such a parameter as their thickness - depending on this indicator, the plastic panels are divided into ceiling and wall panels (the walls are thicker and, correspondingly, heavier).

Ceiling PVC panels are in high demand, which is due, inter alia, to their special performance characteristics, and above all, high moisture resistance.
Therefore, plastic ceiling panels can be considered one of the best options for finishing the ceiling in the bathroom - a room with conditions of increased steam and moisture content. Another very advantageous option of using plastic ceiling panels is the finishing of the ceiling in the kitchen : these panels do not absorb odors at all, they are easy to clean and durable. In addition, the technology of mounting plastic panels allows you to hide behind them all sorts of wiring (for example, electrical), as well as easy to install a spotlight.
