Serena Williams: "Mom never cheated!"

Openly admit the fact of taking illicit drugs in a sports career and calmly react to irrefutable facts is worthy of respect. Tennis player Serena Williams, and more recently a civilian activist, commented on her attitude to doping scandals, the difficulties of treatment and sports honor.

Serena first came to court after the birth of her daughter and victory! The tennis player showed an excellent result yesterday at the tournament in Indian Wells in a fight with Zarina Diyas from Kazakhstan. She shared her thoughts on the results with journalists:

"For me, the topic of doping is very personal and difficult. I note at once that throughout my career I have never given positive doping tests, but I have repeatedly heard accusations against me. Every time I had irrefutable facts that allowed me to make small indulgences. For example, during the performance at the tournament in "Roland Garros" I was very sick and cold. My team did its best, but it was impossible to bring me to life without the help of medications. The commission took into account all our evidence and found them reasoned ".

Note that the World Anti-Doping Agency admits therapeutic exceptions, if the appointment of the attending physician requires it, there is no alternative to the prohibited drug and this will not affect the qualitative indicators of the athlete.

Serena Williams repeatedly became the winner of the tournaments, she got a cup of the "Grand Slam" series 23 times in singles and won gold of the Olympic Games four times. What is the most appreciated Serena in his sports career? The tennis player answered this question frankly:

"Honor! I could not tell my daughter, looking into the eyes, that her mother cheated someone and got her cup unfairly. She should know that my mother never cheated and put a maximum of physical effort to win. "
