TIFF 2016: the La Lounge and the science fiction drama "Arrival"

Now in the midst of the Toronto Film Festival, and yesterday the judges and spectators showed two interesting pictures: the musical La La Land and the sci-fi drama Arrive. The first was presented by the lead actors Emma Stone and Ryan Gosling, and the second by Amy Adams and Jeremy Renner.

On the main roles in La La Land initially director Demien Shazell wanted to invite Miles Teller, and to him as a partner Emma Watson, but Miles refused to participate in the picture.

For the first time, the tape La La Land was shown at the Venice Film Festival and immediately received a lot of positive feedback. Critics of Metacritic gave her 91 balls out of 100 possible, and called her "the hope of returning a high-quality American musical".

The government hires a specialist in linguistics (Amy Adams) and a well-known mathematician (Jeremy Renner) to understand the purpose of the visit. Over time, the linguist begins to understand the language of extraterrestrial guests. In addition, she experiences several flashbacks and starts to guess what happened to uninvited guests.

For the first time the work on this picture was thought in 2012, but the shooting began only in the summer of 2015, due to a number of problems associated with the adaptation of the script. The "Arrival" drama was shown at the Venice Film Festival, but received an average jury rating.
