Winter holidays in the popular European ski resort of Zakopane - is not only the stunning nature of the mountains, reminiscent of the Alps, a variety of difficulty levels for skiing and routes for pedestrians. General information
Zakopane resort in Poland is located at a sufficiently high altitude - from 750 to 1100 meters above sea level. There are six "blue", one "red" and three "black" tracks. There are 90 lifts for guests. The cost of a subscription for the day of riding is 70-100 zlotys (about 700-1000 Russian rubles or 20-30 US dollars).

Skating areas

So, for skiers-beginners the "blue" route of Kotelnica and Pardałówka will be the optimal solution. Like in many other districts of Zakopane, the ski lifts here are rope-like. The maximum elevation difference in Pardałówka is 45 meters, and in Kotelnica - 154 meters. This is quite enough for "dummies", as novice instructors and skiers with experience call it. The service here is appropriate: there are snow cannons, snowcatchers, ski schools, equipment rental, and a variety of cafes where you can keep warm and have a snack.
Those who have reached a certain level of skill in mountain skiing should choose the route "red", that is, the average level of complexity. Such are available in Gubalowka, Butorovy Top, Polyana Shimoshkova, Kizintse and Nosale. The minimum elevation difference in Nosal (245 meters), and the maximum - in Gubałówka (300 meters). You can climb the mountain on different types of lifts. So, in Gubałówka the funicular works, in Butorovy Top and Polyana Shimoshkova - chairlifts double and six-seat lifts, and in Nosal - a chair single lift. The level of service here is quite high. There are many cafes. A large selection of equipment at numerous points of hire, routes are covered, and the basics of skiing beginners for an extra fee will be taught by experienced instructors. By the way, the "blue" tracks for beginners are also here. These areas Zakopane - an excellent solution for groups of holidaymakers, in which there are "teapots", and experienced skiers. If you are a fan of slalom, then a difficult descent in Nosal is for you! And snowboarders, skiers-runners and jumper jumpers jute trails in Kozinets.
The most complex, "black", tracks are equipped for professionals skiing in the region of Kasprowy Ver. To the top of the mountain you can get in trolleys-gondolas from Kuznitsa, on a two-seater chair from Gorychkova valley and on a four-seater chairlift from Gonzenitsova valley. Unbelievable, but in the skiing area the maximum length of the descent reaches nine kilometers, and the difference in altitude is 940 meters!
