After a long and painful illness, 73-year-old Rene Angelil, husband and producer of the famous Canadian singer Celine Dion, died.
This happened in Las Vegas, in their private home, where René had long struggled with a severe form of cancer. 47-year-old Celine Dion does not comment on what happened and asks not to interfere in such a mourning event of their family.
History of the struggle
Renee and Celine met in 1980, when the future singer was very young. Since 1987, they began to meet officially, and in 1994 married in Montreal. The couple lived happily for 21 years and when it became known about the passing away of Renee, he wanted to die in the arms of his beloved wife.
