Aluminum windows

Today, when constructing houses, steel structures, such as aluminum windows, are increasingly used. Apply their builders and designers in glazing in both private construction and the construction of various public and industrial buildings and structures.

Advantages of aluminum windows

The popularity of aluminum windows is their long life - more than 80 years. In this case, if necessary, you can replace the components without repairing the whole window.

Aluminum structures are able to withstand sharp temperature fluctuations, they are not susceptible to corrosion and acid precipitation, do not burn out in the sun. In addition, they are not afraid of fire and almost do not support burning.

In the production of window profiles, not only pure aluminum is used, but also various additives, in particular silicon and magnesium. Thanks to this, aluminum window structures are very durable and reliable. They are resistant to both mechanical and chemical influences.

Aluminum windows are completely safe for use, since they do not emit any harmful substances. In addition, such windows can be presented in various colors, so it's easy to choose the right shade that suits your interior. And, if necessary, such windows can be painted in the desired color.

Thanks to the lightness of the aluminum window design, it can easily be installed even alone. Care of this window is completely not complicated, and the cost of construction is much lower compared to wooden or even plastic windows.

Aluminum windows are harmoniously combined with other materials, for example, with wooden panels. Therefore, such aluminum windows will be appropriate to look in any room. In addition, aluminum profiles can be used to create arched and more complex shapes of window structures.

Types of aluminum windows

For the manufacture of window structures from aluminum, the so-called warm and cold profiles are used. A characteristic feature of the warm profile is the presence in it of thermal fusion, that is, a special polyamide-fiberglass insert, which provides thermal insulation of the entire structure. Thanks to this, such warm aluminum windows do not freeze in winter. Therefore, warm profiles are used in the manufacture of aluminum windows for rooms that will be heated.

Cold profiles do not have such a thermal break, so they are used for glazing of non-residential premises, for example, filling stations, shopping centers, stations, etc.

Aluminum windows are of two types:

Most often aluminum windows are installed on balconies and loggias. In view of the limited space, it is convenient to use sliding window structures in these spaces, which will save space. It is very easy to use such windows: they move on special rails according to the type of the closet.

Use on loggias and balconies and sloping-sliding window constructions. They can be opened for ventilation by about 15 cm or they can be moved to one side along the rails.

Often, aluminum windows are used for stained glass windows of both private and public buildings. Use in aluminum constructions of standard double-glazed windows or sandwich panels allows to install such glazing in winter gardens and greenhouses.
