Curtains day-night

Quite recently in the market of curtains there was an excellent alternative to usual horizontal jalousie - stylish curtains day-night. These are close relatives of tissue rollet. There are day and night curtains of two kinds of strips, made of transparent and dense materials, alternating with each other. Such a curtain is adjusted by means of a special mechanism. By driving the strips of a double roller blind day and night, you can choose the necessary light in the room. When two transparent strips are combined in the room, it will be light, and when a transparent strip is applied to a thick fabric in the room, a darkening effect will appear.

Thanks to this design, day-night curtains are also called "zebra". Unlike the usual curtains, which can be either just open or closed, using day-night curtains you can darken the room in different degrees.

For the manufacture of day-night curtains, various types of fabrics are used: smooth monochrome, textured and even with a pattern. Material in day and night curtains is impregnated with special anti-static and dust-repellent agents, which greatly facilitates the care of them.

Types of day-night curtains

Curtains "zebra" are divided into the following types, which depend on their method of attachment:

• roll classic zebra curtain day-night - it includes an aluminum tube to which one edge of fabrics is attached, and a weighting agent sewn into the lower part of the curtain system;
• roller blinds mini zebra - a kind of classic blinds day and night. Their distinctive feature is the ability to install not only on the entire window, but also on its part. Mini "zebra" can be very easily installed on both blind and folding windows with double-sided tape. The system is quite practical and convenient. In the lower part of such mini curtains there are special magnetic tapes that do not allow the curtain to swell with the wind or sag. This type of curtains blinds day and night use both in the living room and in the office space;
• The construction of cassette curtains day and night is the same as for conventional blinds of this type. They are fixed on the window with the help of guides, which prevent the fabric from sagging. This kind of day and night curtains can perfectly adjust the illumination in the room, so they are used in the kitchen, in the bedroom, and in the nursery.
