Warming of facades with mineral wool

Modern houses are distinguished by architectural diversity. But all of them are united by the problem of energy saving, which is solved by the insulation of the walls of the facades with mineral wool or other insulation . Most of the work is done outside the building. It is recommended to work at a temperature ranging from 5 to 30 ° C, constructing a canopy and pulling a net that protects against precipitation and direct sunlight on the facade.

The method of warming the facade of the house with mineral wool by own hands

  1. Perfect insulation is possible only with good contact of mineral wool with the wall. If the house is not wooden, it is better to plant the material on the glue. Therefore, before the installation begins, we finish all the "wet" processes inside the house and roofing works, fill the window and door openings,
  2. We prepare the base under the heater. To do this, we clean the surface of the contamination and knock off the protruding sections with a hammer. If necessary, level the wall with a solution.
  3. We dismantle all objects that prevent the gluing of the insulation.
  4. Prepare the glue. To do this, slowly fall asleep in the water, constantly mixing the ingredients. Komkov in the glue should not be.
  5. We ground the wall with an adhesive compound, which ensures good adhesion of the plates to the surface.
  6. We fix the socle profile, which protects the material from external influences. To do this, we use the profile itself with a thickness of at least a layer of mineral wool, dowels under it, depending on the type of wall, docking elements and washers. The distance from the product to the ground should be within 60 cm, the fixing step is 30 cm.
  7. Form the corners, the inner part of the profile is cut out, and the outer one is left.
  8. We shall primet glue of a plate of mineral cotton wool. For small irregularities, we work with a denticle. For large unevennesses we use the contour-beaconing method, the glue is additionally applied along the contour and in the center.
  9. Installation begins from the corner of the building from the bottom up, placing the plates horizontally and observing the dressing. Apply the plate to the wall, press and remove excess glue. In the first row, the plate must rest on the socle profile.
  10. Slots are filled with strips of insulation, and unevenness we grind with a grater.
  11. Not sooner than a day later we attach the mineral wool to the wall with dowels.
  12. The corners of the window and doorway are reinforced with a layer of mesh.
  13. On the perimeter of the window we mount a profile with reinforced mesh. Remove the protective tape and attach the film, which will protect the glass. We plaster the slopes, drowning the mesh in the glue.
  14. On the upper slope we set a special profile for water drainage.
  15. Strengthen the reinforcement of the corners of the house with overlapping mesh bands of 15 cm.
  16. In the basement part of the house we also install a profile with a dropper, diverting water.
  17. We ground the entire surface of the insulation.
  18. Apply the adhesive with a notched trowel.
  19. We heat in a glue a glass grill with an overlap along the edges and apply a layer of reinforcing solution over the top.
  20. After hardening, but no earlier than three days later we are engaged in grinding the surface and applying a decorative layer.
