Shakira (Shakira Isabel Mebarak Ripoll) was born on February 2, 1977 in Colombia. Shakira's parents loved her very much and invested heavily in her upbringing. From an early age the girl was interested in music and literature. At 1.5 years she already knew the alphabet and by three years had learned to read and write. And a year later I wrote my first poem.
