Not always people were aware of all the continents and islands of the planet. For a long time, human history was limited to Eurasia, so there was the notion of "the end of the world", which was located in the city of Cadiz or Hades, located in the south of the mainland. Gradually, more and more new lands were opened, and this city ceased to be so called. But interest in it has not disappeared, and Cadiz is now considered the most popular resort of Andalusia, the autonomy of Spain.
Going to the ancient city of Spain (and even all of Europe) Cádiz, it is better to know in advance where it is and what you can see there.
How to get to Cádiz?
From London, Madrid and Barcelona, you can fly to the nearest airport to Jerez de la Frontera, and from there for half an hour by taxi (about 40 euros) or an hour on a shuttle bus (10 euros) to reach Cadiz. Of course, you can land in Seville or Malaga, but get longer.
From Madrid to Cadiz, there are regular trains that can be reached in 5 hours.
