General features of diving in Cambodia

1. The water temperature is approximately 28-30 ° C, regardless of the season.
2. Diving here is interesting at any time of the year, it all depends on your preferences. But remember that the rainy season starts in June and ends in October. And the rain, as a rule, goes after noon.
3. Visibility under water - from 6 to 35 meters, depending on the location and weather conditions .

Diving sites in Cambodia

1. One of the best resorts of Cambodia on the sea for diving is Sihanoukville . First and foremost, this part of the country gained tremendous popularity thanks to the cleanest beaches and a large number of nearby dive sites suitable for both experienced and novice divers. From Sihanoukville you can go on a dive tour, which will last a few days, or to swim to the nearby islands.
2. Koh Rong Samloy and Koh Rong . To get to these two islands, around which there are also interesting dive sites, you will have to spend about two hours in the boat. But it's worth it. Next to the islands you will see skates, sea stars, scorpions and this is not the whole list. Of the popular sites of the islands can be identified Rocky Bay, Secret Garden, Cobia Point and Nudibranch Heaven.
3. Koh Co. This small island is located between the two named above. From its western part there are colored corals, here you will see large parrotfishes and yellow sultans. On the south side of the divers will be met by cat sharks, rays and sea eels. The southern site is also popular with fans of night diving.
4. Waters around the islands of Ko Tang and Ko Prince impress the divers with an incredible riot of colors and excellent visibility. As a rule, visitors to these islands order a dive tour with an overnight stay on a dive boat. This option gives an excellent opportunity to get to know more closely the local barracudas, arthropods and nudibranchs.

It should be noted that for the most part the training in Cambodian dive centers takes place in English.
