In this article, we will briefly describe the technology of finishing the facade of a private house with a siding with our own hands. This view is quite affordable for most users, all the work is quite simple in execution, and in addition there is an opportunity for warming the walls.

Siding installation

1. We have a brick wall of the house already insulated with polystyrene.
2. Installation begins with the installation of corner elements. We drill holes for mounting hangers.
3. We use dowel-nails in work. The dimensions of the fasteners may vary, but it is desirable that at least 5 cm of their length is required for reliable fixation in the brick.
4. We fix the suspension with a screw and cork to the wall surface.
5. We bend it in the form of the letter "P". We take into account that on the 3-meter profile you need at least 3-4 hangers.
6. We establish a profile vertically in the middle of the suspension and fix it on both sides with screws. To the facade of the house with his own hands looked neat, always at the corners we control the work level. The rest of the profile is aligned with a cord stretched from above and below.
7. We straighten the ears of the suspension.
8. We mount from both sides of the wall the outer corner of the siding .
9. We set internal profiles.
10. All openings need to be neatly framed with a galvanized profile.
11. In uneven places you will have to choose grooves in the insulation to vertically expose the profile.
12. The profiles are fastened together by self-tapping screws.
13. In the areas of siding rupture, it is necessary to provide a docking profile.
14. The frame is finished. The distance between the vertical profiles is about 40 cm.
15. We pass to the second part of the facade decoration of the house with our own hands. We draw horizontal marks from below with the help of a level.
16. We fasten the starting strip.
17. The window is framed with a prism bar.
18. We put the siding in the starting strip until it snaps into place, check the edges for the gaps.
19. First, we screw the panels with screws to the profiles located in the middle, and only then to the other profiles.
20. We use a short fastener with sharp tips.
21. We check the series for horizontal level.
22. Pruning panels, we take into account the temperature gaps.
23. On the perimeter of the roof we also attach a galvanized profile, to which the upper J-profile of the siding is screwed.
24. We finish the work on the second tier of the building.
