The use of glass tiles in the design of the room is a fresh and unusual solution, which, however, originates from the ancient tradition of wall decoration with glass mosaic , common in many peoples.

The most obvious and wide area of ​​application of such tiles are rooms where there is increased humidity. Glass tiles for the bathroom - this is an excellent alternative to traditional tiles, as this tile is completely waterproof, well withstands high temperatures, and is resistant to mechanical influences: chips and bumps. Glass ceramic tile for the design of the pool looks unusual and interesting. In addition, increased strength and moisture resistance allow it to be used even for the design of pools intended for commercial use.

Traditionally, glass tiles for finishing the apron in the kitchen are also used. After all, in addition to moisture resistance, this material also withstands heating up to high temperatures without deforming or emitting any harmful substances.

Unusual use of glass tiles

Thanks to an interesting appearance, such a glass tile was used by interior designers to decorate unusual surfaces, in order to give the rooms a non-standard and modern appearance. So, it is often used in the living rooms and bedrooms to decorate the panels on the walls. After all, the small size of the tiles that make up the mosaic allows you to work even on surfaces with a non-standard configuration. Often, glass tiles are used for finishing entire partitions between rooms or parts of the room.

Decorative glass tiles for the floor are made thicker, as it must withstand heavy loads, in addition, it has some reliefs that prevent it from sliding over it. The floor, finished in this way, looks as if translucent, which facilitates the interior and the entire room.
