What is Trinidad and who is Tobago?
Already one name of the country is of genuine interest - it really sounds exotic and attractive. Although there is nothing strange and mysterious - the state is named after the two largest islands on which it is located. Although in addition to them there are other islets.
Interestingly, more than half of the population is made up of black people from Africa and India. Their ancestors were brought here by the slave-owners - for a long time the islands arrived in the possession of Great Britain. Also in the republic there are people from Arab, Asian and European countries. There are also Creoles.
Great Britain left its mark on the islands. So, the official language here is English. Traces of the former English domination are also evident in other spheres.
Hot and humid, but without hurricanes
The weather in Trinidad and Tobago in general is almost the same throughout the year and is characterized by a fairly high temperature. Although under the influence of winds there are two periods - arid and damp. In fact, there is no rain for five months - from the end of December to the end of May, but from June to the end of the year, at least two hundred millimeters of precipitation falls. Such abundant rains lead to an increase in air humidity up to 85%!
The most "cold" month is February - the average temperature of air these days does not exceed +23 degrees Celsius.
The climate of Trinidad and Tobago is ideal for beach holidays, swimming in the gentle sea. As hurricanes bypass the islands side!
