It seems that the trials of Jim Carrey with the mother of his deceased girl Catriona White, who committed suicide in the autumn of last year, will not end. The actor, whom Miss White's relatives accused of her death, seeks to cancel the lawsuits, considering them groundless.

The war between Jim Carrey and the mother of Cartia White, Brigitte Svitmen, supported by her daughter's widow Mike Barton, began in October. The woman blames Jim for verbal abuse against Kartiona, infecting the girl with sexually transmitted diseases and supplying her with medications, which she poisoned.

Yesterday, Jim Carrey began retaliating maneuvers. His lawyers sent a petition asking the judge to remove from the list of claims put forward by Brigitte Svitmen, accusations that he had infected Sexually with venereal diseases. Since this happened several years before the suicide of the girl, these events are irrelevant and, according to the actor, could not push her to suicide and therefore should be withdrawn from the case.
