Manta Point

Manta Point is one of the most amazing dive sites in Indonesia . Diving here, the diver finds himself in an absolutely fantastic world, where the main characters are reefs and sea devils. Manta Point attracts professionals and beginners, but the latter will be somewhat difficult here, since the most curious "exhibits" are deep at the bottom.

general information

Manta Point in Bali received its name in honor of a separate type of stingray, which is called "Manta" or the people "The Giant Sea Devil". Skates sail to the reef, so that the fish cleaners clean them from parasites. Local divers called this place a "cleaningstation", which translates as "Cleaning Station". It is for this amazing spectacle that thousands of divers visit Manta Point every year.

Features of diving

Diving at Manta Point is complicated by the fact that you often need to "hang" in order to be able to be full of spectacle. Such a technique should first be learned.

Huge stingrays sail to the reef and wait for the fish to swim towards them. Mantas are already accustomed to guests with scuba diving, so they are not frightened at all. Some divers even dare to get close to the sea devil and touch it. Against him, a person seems tiny, and the process itself raises the level of adrenaline.

It is worth considering that the top of the reef is at a depth of 5 m, so you will have to dive deep enough to enjoy the picture as a whole. But this should not frighten the newcomers, since the dive center has prepared a program for those who have never yet explored the depths or have little experience. You can make trial dives with an instructor, and only after training, go to a meeting with the sea devil.
