Models of women's jackets

For several centuries, the jacket was considered a man's original garment. And if at the beginning of the last century a decent woman was not allowed to wear such clothes, today different types of women's jackets are firmly entrenched in the wardrobe of the beautiful half of humanity.

Since when in 1962 the famous Yves Saint Laurent released on the podium mannequins dressed in frock-coats, tuxedos, long women's jackets and trouser suits, the representatives of the stronger sex finally lost the exclusive right to these clothes.

Women's jackets

In everyday life, such clothes as women's jackets and jackets are a common occurrence. Each season, designers offer us a large number of variations on the theme of this truly versatile wardrobe item. Long and short, fitted and free, one- and two-breasted, sporting and classical - modern options are very, very diverse.

However, indisputable favorites are classical models. Similar options, made of tweed, dense and thin costume fabric, as well as silk and cotton look very feminine and elegant, giving the figure a refined look. Female classic jacket is perfectly combined with trousers or a pencil skirt, and with a flying dress in the floor or even shorts. By the way, the latter option is very popular among young ladies.

The shortened models of women's jackets look great both at a business meeting or at the office, and on a romantic date. In the new season, this model received a rather original addition in the form of a zipper, giving it a more democratic look.

The fitted female jacket does not leave fashionable podiums for several seasons. Designers prefer velvet, knitted and even leather models that boldly combine with evening and cocktail dresses, democratic denim and long pleated skirts.
