Potato pancakes with minced meat

Draniks are originally a Belarusian dish, popular also in other Slavic and Eastern European countries. Usually the initial mass for draniki is prepared from grated potatoes, sometimes added wheat flour, chopped onions, carrots, milk or kefir, cottage cheese, cheese, spices, greens. Draniki fry (or bake in a frying pan) using pork or chicken fat, melted butter or vegetable oil.

There is a more complex and interesting variant of this dish - potato pancakes with minced meat, they are more nutritious. There are two main variations of the recipe.

Potato pancakes stuffed with minced meat

In a separate bowl, minced meat mixed with a well chopped onion and garlic. Season with spices, a little salting.

We clean potatoes. Half the tubers rubbed on the middle grater, the rest - on the large. We add eggs and flour, mix with a fork.

Heat the frying pan and grease it with a slice of fat, pinned on the fork.

Spoon small portions of potato paste and squeeze. Spoon smaller put on a potato substrate a small portion of minced meat, we take, and on top - again a portion of potato mass. We fix the shoulder blade so that the edges of the lower and upper layer are joined. Here, we get pancakes with stuffing; fry products with a flip and a little lead under the lid on low heat. Ready-made pancakes are served with sour cream.

"Lazy" potato pancakes with chicken mince - recipe

Ingredients:

Peeled potatoes rubbed on a grater (half - on a large, the rest - on the average). Add chicken mince, eggs, flour, ground pepper and well-ground greens. Slightly greasy. Stir and slightly whisk (you can mixer, then the products will turn out particularly lush).

Fry the "lazy" pancakes in a frying pan on the overturned chicken fat with a flip, lightly bring on low heat under the lid. You can serve with sour cream or with a mache, bothers, cold meat.
