Behind these lovely bamboo bears are looked after, like little children - they are hugged and kissed, they are played in favorite games and are constantly treated with useful delicious food. And this attitude has already produced a result - a month ago, the World Wildlife Fund (WWF) changed the status of pandas from the "endangered" species to "vulnerable"!
But, it turns out, among these funny fuzzy, so similar to the plush toys, there was one most miserable!
Meet this is Quizai - the only brown panda in the world.
At the age of two months he was abandoned by his mother, and this happened, most likely because of the unusual color.
Quizai or Seventh Son, as his name is translated from Chinese, was found in the mountains of Qingling (Central China) in a very weakened and neglected form. Employees of the reserve assure that his mother was exactly in a traditional black and white coat, and left her baby, not recognizing her own.
The scientists suggested that the brown color of Quizaya is a consequence of the genetic mutation, but the fact remains that to date, this bear is the only representative of the species with brown-white fur.
Alas, but the fact that Kvizaya was abandoned by her own mother was not the greatest misfortune in her life. This atypical color was not recognized by his other relatives, often mocking him and selecting all the food.
Seven years have passed since Quizaya sheltered the "Foping Panda Valley". The young bear is already looked after by a friend of life, so that scientists can unravel the mystery of the unusual coat color, based on the data of the offspring. In the meantime, Quizai enjoys a good life, erasing from the memory of childhood insults, and comes off to the fullest!
He has a personal assistant who wakes up at 6 o'clock in the morning, plans a day for a bamboo bear, making up a full menu and leisure, and goes to bed well after midnight, when he is sure that Quizaya is just fine.
At the age of 7, Quizai has the best performance - he is healthy, weighs more than 220 pounds and eats more than 44 pounds of bamboo with appetite every day.
His assistant custodian assures that Quizai differs from black and white pandas only by excessive slowness, but on the whole he is "a gentle, funny and charming bear"!
