Safflower honey - a grade of honey, made from nectar flowers of safflower plants. This is a fairly rare product, because it blooms for a short period and makes little nectar. Honey from safflower is thick and viscous. It has a light yellow hue, a mildly sweet taste with a deep aftertaste, which is slightly bitter.
