Stucco the house outside

Stucco walls outside the house - the most elementary way of finishing the facade. It is relatively cheap, fast and durable.

Tips for finishing houses outside with plaster

Each material has its own characteristics of water resistance, heat transfer, frost resistance. It is very important to choose the right kind of decoration, so that later the house became warm, comfortable, without condensation, cold bridges and fungus . For a surface of red brick, cement-sand mortar is quite suitable. On silicate bricks it is better to apply a plaster layer no more than 2 cm, based on cement, asbestos and sand. The finishing layer for aerated concrete is 0.5-1 cm, as the wall itself has good physical and mechanical characteristics. If you work with concrete, the mixture will be applied to the surface in 3 stages: the exterior of the house is finished with liquid plaster to impregnate the substrate, the primer and the finish layer of the mortar.

The sequence of works on the plaster facade

The preparatory stage begins with the cleaning of the surface from foreign objects, including residues of paint, dirt, and hillocks. The smaller the protuberances and depressions on the working area, the thinner the future finish layer will be. Cleaning is carried out using grinding wheels, sandpaper. Before you start working, if necessary, install a hydro-, vapor barrier, insulation, perform the required welding work.

Next, you need to apply impregnations to the surface (primer), which will ensure high-quality adhesion. For maximum quality work, you will need to install beacons - metal guides.

Prepare a solution of consistency "sour cream", work "scrape". Then the main thicker layer is applied, the thickness of 0.5-1 cm is recommended. Depending on the differences, several layers are applied. The total layer can reach several centimeters. When the coating has dried, it must be wiped with a foam or wooden float.

Decorative plaster outside the house can be represented by a "coat", a coating of "lamb", "Bark beetle". The surface turns out to be relief, voluminous, well conceals the errors of the walls.
