Parenting is sport

When the festival began in Monaco, the princess, along with her daughter Gabriella and son Jacques, went to the balcony of their residence. From there, representatives of the royal family and watched the festivities. Prince Albert II was not with them, because he is now on an official visit to Ireland. Despite the fact that the festival lasted about 2 hours, Charlene and her kids were very attentive to what was going on. For this event the princess put on a two-layered black chiffon dress with a blue floral print. As for the children, Jacques was dressed in a blue shirt and black jeans, and Gabriella in a light black and white dress.

After the official part of the holiday was over, the Princess had a talk with the journalists of the edition Paris Match, which she told about what it means to raise twins:

"Bringing up two children at once is not an easy task. I compare this with sports. Now Gabriella and Jacques have a rather difficult period. They are very inquisitive and ask many questions. In addition, the son and daughter are terrifying. They are interested in literally everything. They try to talk a lot and ask me to show me the same amount of things they do not understand. However, I am sure that this process is quite normal. So the children gain experience and knowledge, which in the future will be useful to them. "

Children get on well with each other

The twins Charlene and Albert were born in December 2014. About how they get on with each other, the princess told the interviewer:

"As I said, our children are very active. A little distracted and they are already filling themselves with cones. More recently, a rather amusing incident occurred: Gabriella accidentally banged her forehead on the table. While I calmed her down and told her that I needed to be more careful, Jacques decided to teach me a lesson of furniture. The son approached him and began to knock his fist, saying that the table was bad. Even at this age, Jacques is already ready to defend his sister. In general, they perfectly get along with each other and have great support each other. For the way they play and communicate you can watch for hours. The most interesting is that they do not get tired at all, but I'm exhausted after an active day with them. "
