In nature, there are many kinds of begonias, each of which is beautiful in its own way. And every year there are more and more varieties and hybrids of this flower, which is loved by many. Begonias are divided into two large groups - ornamental-flowering and ornamental-deciduous.

The variety of decorative-flowering begonias pleases with the abundance and beauty of flowers. On the pedicel, begonias have male and female flowers. On female flowers a seed box is formed, consisting of three faces, located above the petals. Flowers are simple, semi-double and double. Almost all varieties drop leaves for the winter and enter a period of rest.
A huge number of decorative and flowering begonias is divided into three types:
- A rare variety of begonia, Lorrain, blooms in winter with white or pink flowers;
- blossoming year round begonia Elatior, large flowers can be pink, red, white and even yellow;

The most popular among the ornamental deciduous trees is the Royal Begonia - colorful leaves from dark green to red with small and less expressive flowers. Buds need to be removed so that they do not weaken the plant. If this is not done, the young leaves will grow small and pale.
