How to make blinds on windows with your own hands made of fabric?

1. Materials and tools for tailoring roll curtains:

For work we need a cut of dense fabric, a needle with threads, a cord, a pair of hooks and plastic rings, a round cornice, a bar that plays the role of a weighting agent.

2. Make the measurements of the window.
3. By the size of the window, we cut out the fabric, leaving a small margin on the pockets.
4. The sewing machine or manually we sew the fabric from above and from below so that the pockets for the cornice and the weighting bar turn out.
5. To the upper pocket on both sides we attach rings.
6. Twist hooks into the upper corners of the window frame.
7. The rod of the cornice is pulled through the upper pocket and we mount it on the cornice.
8. On the width of the lower pocket we select the weighting agent, which we place in it. From its weight depends the tension of the fabric, the appearance of the window and the quality of twisting.
9. We prepare the ropes, the task of which is to twist our curtains. The length of one of them must correspond to a three-fold size of the curtains, the second rope is longer than the first by the width of the blind.
10. We tie the end of the rope, which is shorter to the hook, we loop around the curtain from below, pull it through the ring placed next to the hook, and release it. The rope is more truly secured, we wrap the fabric from below, let it pass through one ring, then along the fabric parallel to the floor through the second, thus connecting the ends of the cords.
11. To lift the blinds, pull the hanging ends of the cord.
