Brest Fortress

This monument is one of the largest and most important memorial complexes dedicated to the Great Patriotic War. Avenue of Heroes

We continue the theme of the Great Patriotic War and get acquainted with the memorial alley "Their names are the streets of Brest." This avenue is located on the road to the Brest Fortress and keeps the names of all those heroes who, not sparing themselves, fought for their homeland with the fascists. Take time and visit this place, thus showing respect to all those who died.

Archeology Museum "Berestie"

In this museum, which is located on the basis of the ancient settlement, the father of Brest, the remains of wooden buildings dating back to the 14th century are collected. All the exhibits of this museum are collected here in order to preserve the memory of the ancient Belarusian masters and their way of life. Belorussians honor the memory of their ancestors and they bow low for it.

Alley of Literary Lights

In the street Gogol not so long ago opened an interesting exposition, which at the moment contains about 30 sculptures-lanterns, made in very interesting genres. It is noteworthy that no ruble was spent on the creation of these lamps from the state budget - everything was done with the money of investing enterprises.

To the story of Brest and its sights can be attributed and this defensive-watchtower, which stands in its place since the XIII century. The location of the tower plus its height allow everyone to enjoy the beautiful view that opens from the top.

Catholic church of the Exaltation of the Holy Cross.

The oldest and most beautiful church in the territory of the Brest region. It was built in 1856, but by order of the Soviet authorities it was closed for some time. After the war in 1941-1945, he was converted to a local history museum, but today he again appears before parishioners in his temple appearance. By the way, here is kept the most revered Belarusian Catholics icon of Our Lady of Brest.
