Coat from a blanket

A bright and contradictory trend in the winter - a coat-down jacket from a blanket is gaining popularity among designers and city women of fashion. The creative idea fell to the taste of many eminent couturiers, and they gladly presented to the public their vision of such an eccentric thing.

Coat from a blanket, or back to the past

Down jackets are a habitual winter clothes for us, and even to such initially shocking models like "coat-down jacket-blanket", we gradually begin to get used to. Moreover, many true admirers of fashion have already managed to try on this stylish and incredibly warm thing on themselves.

And all would be nothing, but not accustomed to wasteful Estonian designer Marit Ilison, decided to defeat everyone to a halt. The coat of Soviet blankets is a very unexpected and ambiguous decision.

The collection turned out to be really unique, if only because all products are sewn from real Soviet clothes. Yes, it is these original blankets that many of us remember: pink, red, green, orange with a beige or white pattern - many of them evoke memories of childhood, and the resourceful grandmothers, perhaps still preserved rare specimens in the trunk. But, now not about this. Coats from Soviet blankets from Marit Ilison look elegant enough, differ in cut and color, and the decor for them is the crystals of Swarovski . It is also worth noting that all products were hand-woven, so the price for them turned out to be clearly not Soviet.

No less original in their endeavors designers of the brand "Wintervacht" - they presented to the public a coat of woolen and camel blankets, though this time monochrome. The material for the manufacture of these products was old blankets, bought at a flea market. Of course, such wardrobe items can be called unique, although the fashion experts doubt that they will descend from the podiums to the streets.
