Geographic location of the lake

Lago de Yohoa is located between the two largest cities of Honduras - Tegucigalpa and San Pedro Sula . Such a convenient location attracts numerous tourists traveling to these cities. Lago de Yohoa is the largest reservoir of Honduras and, moreover, the only natural lake in the country. Its length is 22 km, the approximate width is 14 km, and the maximum depth is 15 m. Lake Lago de Jóhoa in Honduras is located at an altitude of 700 m above sea level.

Flora and fauna

Lake Lago de Yohoa along the west coast borders the national park of Santa Barbara, so this diversity of plant and animal world surroundings is not surprising.
