Runny nose is the most common disease of the upper respiratory tract. This pathology is provoked by various factors: viral and bacterial infections, hypothermia, the effects of chemical reagents and allergic stimuli, etc. Recently, cases of allergic seasonal and year-round rhinitis, characterized by symptoms such as pruritus in the nose, abundant mucus secretion, sneezing, difficulty in nasal breathing, are quite often noted.

Having a similar composition, both Nazonex and Desirinite are presented in the form of a spray, i.e. have the same form of output. Vials of preparations are equipped with a convenient dosing device that provides full coverage of the nasal mucosa and uniform distribution of the drug.
Pharmacological action and indications of Nazonex and Desrinitis
The active substance of both drugs - mometasone furoate - is a synthetic new-generation glucocorticoid that has a powerful anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, antipruritic and vasoconstrictive effect in local use. These drugs are prescribed in such cases:
- seasonal and year-round runny allergic etiology (for treatment and prevention);
- sinusitis in acute stage or exacerbation of chronic sinusitis (as part of complex therapy in parallel with antibiotics);
- uncomplicated acute rhinosinusitis ;
- polyposis of nose, characterized by impaired breathing and lack of smell.

Desrinitis can be called a drug-copy, produced in the Czech Republic, in connection with which its price is much lower than the original. Therefore, Desinitis can become a drug of choice in the narrow material possibilities of the patient, while the effectiveness of therapy with this drug will be at the same level as with treatment with Nazonex.
