Dysbiosis is an excess, deficiency or imbalance of the number of beneficial and harmful microorganisms in the intestine.
Why does the useful flora die?
The number of useful microorganisms in the intestine can be significantly reduced if:
- there is an increased or decreased acidity of the medium (pancreatitis, cholecystitis, gastritis, intestinal diseases, hepatitis, peptic ulcer);
- undigested food residues are fermented, which is the case with insufficient production of digestive enzymes (a violation of the liver, stomach, pancreas);
- the muscles of the intestine do not promote its contents (spasms, decreased tone due to operations or stress);
- food does not contain enough substances that promote the growth of useful flora (hard diets, the use of preservatives);
- In the intestine there are pathogenic microbes or parasites (dysentery, viral diseases, salmonellosis, helminthiases, giardiasis);
- there was treatment with antibiotics.
Complex treatment of dysbiosis
At a dysbacteriosis there is a sharp infringement of functions of digestion which is shown by a heartburn, an eructation, a nausea, a diarrhoeia, a bloating and a pain, a constipation, unpleasant aftertaste and a smell from a mouth. If ingestion of habitual and harmless foods causes unpleasant sensations and the above symptoms, it is necessary to undergo a course of treatment of dysbiosis.
It includes the reception of three types of drugs:
- probiotics - do not live in a healthy intestine, but create favorable conditions for their "relatives" - beneficial bacteria;
- spores of living bacteria - linex, lacipol, bifikol, bifidobacterin, colibacterin;
- bacteriophages - viruses, harmless to humans, but killing harmful microflora.
Criticism
Many scientists consider ineffective such treatment of dysbiosis after taking antibiotics or in connection with the aforementioned with disorders. According to their opinion, the alien flora in the intestine does not get accustomed, and the bacteriophages do not have time to act, since they are completely digested in the stomach.
In conditions of such ambiguity, it makes sense to prefer the treatment of dysbiosis with herbs and other folk methods.
Non-traditional ways of treating dysbiosis
Traditional medicine offers simple and harmless means:
- black pepper-peas - 3-5 peppers to swallow before eating, washed down with water;
- milk (fresh, but better sour) - drink in large quantities, it is more useful than home, but not packaged;
- onion and garlic - there are every day (it is possible in a salad), especially bold can drink it with yogurt;
- sauerkraut - to eat, as much as necessary;
- pumpkin seeds - are also anthelmintic;
- chicory - ground coffee powder to brew and drink daily.
Phytotherapy can offer effective treatment of herb dysbiosis. It is recommended to drink fees (in the pharmacy is sold the so-called "Tea from dysbiosis") from:
- ayr of marsh;
- Veronica officinalis;
- anise ordinary;
- blackberry bluish;
- mother-and-stepmother;
- St. John's Wort.
Take care of yourself!
Unlike many disorders, dysbiosis accepts treatment at home, nevertheless, after noticing its symptoms, it is necessary to consult a doctor, as a violation of microflora is not a cause, but a consequence of various diseases.
