Demonology has always been of interest to people, the representatives of the Forces of Darkness remain today a mystery to us. But if Lucifer's name is always on hearing, then the demon Abbadon, as one of the most powerful demons of hell, has gained fame recently. Some sources call him a fallen angel. Where it came from, what it does, it's an interesting question.
Who is Abbadon?
Abbadon is one of the most powerful demons, personifying destruction, his strength does not divide the world into good and evil personalities. Some demonologists believe that Abbadon is often acting with good intentions, punishing the guilty. The word "Abbadon" in translation means "destruction", in the Old Testament variant it is synonymous with death. There are several more meanings:
- The place of destruction, the territory of hell.
- The grave of all the deceased, and the righteous and sinners.
- The lord of the abyss, to whom the locusts obey.
- Military adviser of hell, one of the names of Satan, the prince of the 7th rank of demons.
- A fallen angel who continues to serve God as a punishing right hand.
It is believed that no one knows the real name of this being, in the language of demons it is called "Nobody". He suffers a drought, sends locusts and other woes. Several descriptions have reached us today:
- A little angry dwarf.
- Skeleton with pieces of skin and meat.
- A humanlike ugly creature with webbed wings, long claws and teeth. This image is preserved on some engravings, where Abbadon attacks Christians.
Why is Abbadon without hands?
The developers of modern games have brought out a slightly different image of this demon, presenting, as Abbadon the Razoritel, Chaos Warmaster, commander of the Black Legion and leader of all Space Marines, organizer of the Black Crusades against the worlds of the Imperium. Among fans of the game, the expression "Abbadon Armless" became popular, and there are two explanations for this:

These rituals have remained a mystery, we only know that they are archaeological. In the best case, nothing will work out, at worst - the evoker will simply disappear, because it is impossible to subdue the demon of destruction.
When the lord of war breaks into the world of people, nothing can curb his power. The fallen angel Abbadon allegedly submits only to God, therefore attempts to gain power over him are doomed to failure initially. Only the strongest and most famous mages risked such an attempt, but, as far as we know, none of them succeeded. In the history of demonology of similar facts is not fixed, as well as in magical sorcery books.
